  49.Sh DESCRIPTION
  50The
  51.Nm sigpending
  52function returns a mask of the signals pending for delivery
  53to the calling process in the location indicated by
  54.Fa set .
  55Signals may be pending because they are currently masked,
  56or transiently before delivery (although the latter case is not
  57normally detectable).
  58.Sh RETURN VALUES
  59A 0 value indicated that the call succeeded.  A \-1 return value
  60indicates an error occurred and
  61.Va errno
  62is set to indicated the reason.
